The Handmade Tweet

Time for a little steampunk. Today's Handmade Tweet comes from fellow Etsy Steam Team member Mythdemeanor!

From crescentwench's Profile:

"Mythdemeanor! is made up of Sandy (crescentwench) and her girlfriend Taryn. Taryn does most of the artwork while Sandy does most everything else including sewing, printing, etsy-stuff.

After earning a BFA in Costume Design at the College of Santa Fe in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Sandy worked in theatre for 2 years before returning to her hometown - Bloomington, IN. She now works as a seamtress at a local alterations shop and spends her free time crafting, sewing, and playing with dye.

Taryn is a lifelong artist, history buff and not your average cripple. She pumps out history and geekery inspired ink drawings faster than Sandy can keep up with and frequently entertains the neighbors with her saucy humor and no-nonsense attitude. Taryn's fondest wish is to be the first cripple velcro-tossed on the David Letterman Show."

This is a very sexy skirt. You've got to love ruffles and a bustle. Click on the picture for great steampunk items and more from Mythdemeanor! Oh and good luck with the Letterman thing Taryn ;)

I'm spending some time catching up on blogs this morning. Just wanted to let you know I stopped by.

Steampunk? Looks more like Western. I can just see Miss Kitty in it on Gunsmoke. Oh,oh, just dated myself!

This is a very cute skirt. I can see the steampunk feel, if only in the shorter full skirt. Neat!
